Open weight/source AI models are required for security. All the best security software has been open source. Do not screw this up and let OpenAI and Anthropic have too much power with their closed models. Look at what happened with the recent OpenAI accidental attack on Hugging Face. A Chinese open-weight model was able to stop it. We need open weight/source AI models from all countries, not just from the USA. It’s a global community effort to create the best open models. Please do not screw this up. You will regret it.
