Public executions! Really? This is wrong on SO many levels. And this is not a debate about the death penalty. Thats a different conversation. This idea is so counter to everything that a free democracy stands for. Not to mention how this will greatly fuel and embolden actors to move against us! Consider the fact that this man will become a 'martyr' for those who wish to put him on that pedestal. Consider the young people watching - normalizing seeing gross violence and doing nothing in its face. This is abhorrent in every way and must not be allowed. Speak up! Loudly! Do not condone this by being silent Do not hide behind the 'that's not my committee' excuse.
