I understand Senator Tim Kaine is forcing a vote (https://substack.com/redirect/82691700-2432-4790-857c-c784f7b9a197?j=eyJ1IjoibmMydmwifQ.SbSJQvLe6gcgWw3TQ5S3I_I5spvJIi81hF2Pu0bJBtY) this week on a War Powers resolution to prevent further military operations in Venezuela. Please support a similar resolution in the House. This past weekend’s attacks were illegal and Congress’s unwillingness to intervene is shocking. In the absence of meaningful congressional oversight, the U.S. risks creating a dangerous precedent in which military might—not a sovereign nation’s own people—determine who has power. It is time for Congress to reassert its power and stop this lawless president! Thank you.
