Kilmar Abrego Garcia was kidnapped and sent to a prison in El Salvador because of an administrative error, but mostly because of racism and incompetence. He was denied due process, which is how we determine whether someone is guilty in this country. The Supreme Court has ordered this administration to facilitate his return. This order is met with shoulder shrugging and an attitude of "You can't make me." This is entirely unacceptable. Every member of congress should demand his return. The administration should be held in contempt of court. Those liable should be charged with kidnapping, and given due process to try and prove their innocence. Anything less than his safe and swift return is a failure of our government, and anything less than full accountability for the executive branch is a dereliction of duty on the part of congress. What are you going to do to fix this?
