Vote NO on HJR 73 - Abortion access in Missouri enshrined constitutionally - Maintain the will of the voters! The attempt of the Missouri Legislature to overturn the will of the people on Amendment 3 is unacceptable. Lawmakers have claimed that we are not smart enough to know what we voted for, but I can assure you I knew exactly what I was saying yes to. In fact, 1.54 million people knew what they were voting for when they said yes to Amendment 3. We voted to enshrine abortion access in the Missouri Constitution and sent a clear signal to politicians that they have no place in interfering in personal, private decisions like pregnancy and abortion. The freedom to control our own bodies, lives, and future is important to me and every person in this state. Our government should reflect the will of the people, not threaten it. This resolution is a plain and simple abortion ban. Period. I write to you urging you vote NO on HJR 73.
