I am a constituent from Denver. Please vote against H.R. 9495 today. The bill would give the incoming Trump administration unchecked power to threaten and shut down any dissenting nonprofit organization by declaring them a “terrorist supporting organization,” without having to provide any evidence or justification. It’s terrifying. Vote no. Also, has the Congressmember made a statement denouncing Nancy Mace’s bathroom ban bill? If not, you should. Watching grown adults bully a transgender lawmaker is repugnant. If the Republicans really cared about “protecting women and girls,” as they claim, they wouldn’t be supporting the nomination of several known sexual assaulters to Trump’s cabinet, including at least one statutory rapist. Please call it out loudly. Thanks.
