You cannot vote on the 5 appropriations bills packaged together with the DHS bill in good conscience. Senate legislators need to stick with Schumer on the filibuster. If necessary let the Republicans choose to shut down the government again. Rein in ICE. All things considered, at this point, it may be necessary to abolish ICE under this administration. At the very least, lower their funding as much as possible. Eliminate or decrease for-profit bed capacity and ICE holding facilities. Demand mandatory no masks on ICE agents and require highly visible identification on them such as nameplates and officer ID numbers (just like ID requirements of official police officers). No more harassment of US citizens. No more unlawful home invasions. You cannot vote on the 5 appropriations bills packaged together with the DHS bill in good conscience. If offered with no other choice, vote NO on the current Republican packaged Appropriations DHS funding bill.
