Pass S.J.Res. 114 to prioritize human rights, diplomacy

The proposed arms sale to Israel described in S.J.Res. 114 includes up to 50 F-15IA aircraft, 120 engines, radars, missile launchers, and other related defense articles and services. While arms transfers can support legitimate defensive needs, the indiscriminate harming of civilians is unacceptable and a violation of international law. I urge the passage of S.J.Res. 114 to prevent this sale and send a clear message that the United States will not enable or abet actions that lead to the loss of innocent lives. We must prioritize protecting human rights and pursuing peaceful resolutions to conflicts over arming hostilities that perpetuate cycles of violence.
