We need a ceasefire. The American people are sick of hearing of the atrocities of this war, as well as figuring out how to live with the fact that our country is essentially backing Israel's horrific attacks against innocent people in school yards practicing their religion, just trying to cope during war and starvation. To say nothing of the impact and trauma this has on Palestinian communities, as well. I am ashamed of my country for this. We are America. Figure something out to do this better. Make the ceasefire happen. No more lives need be lost.
