Today I learned that the President invited the government of Iran to “take out” the American cities of Los Angeles and San Diego. I wonder whether you agree with the President’s sentiment that it is acceptable to state, "They can take out a city. Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego." What other American cities do you find it acceptable to invite foreign governments to “take out”? If you disagree with the President’s invitation to attack American cities, I request that you send me explicit written disagreement with the President’s remarks and that you explicitly and publicly repudiate the President’s remarks. I read your continued failure to repudiate the President’s invitation to attack American cities as agreement with the invitation. If you agree with the President’s remarks, I will keep that in mind when considering who keeps the security of my country, my community, and family as a primary concern.
