The WH and Congress must forego their salaries and ensure back pay for all Federal Employees impacted by the 2025 lapse of appropriations. To force them to work without pay is equivalent to slavery which is illegal and unconstitutional. This shutdown can be brought to an end if the GOP will admit illegal immigrants ONLY receive emergency healthcare under EMTALA and DO NOT get free access to healthcare. Both sides must work together to prevent healthcare premiums for all Americans from skyrocketing, doubling or tripleing and stop allowing the POTUS to run the US as a dictator. You all took an oath to defend this country from threats both foreign and domestic. The time is critical for you to recognize this POTUS as the threat he is and do your duty to defend us and our Nation.
