The only place a Bible should precede the constitution is the alphabet.

Project 25 goes against everything the constitution of the United States stands for. It violates our freedom of expression, our freedom of religion, our freedom of bodily autonomy, and our freedom to control our government through a fair and equitable vote. It seeks to send this nation back to a time when women had no rights and when laws were dictated by a religious tome that does not recognize or represent us all. Worst of all, it allows for undereducated white men to hold all the power- men who have proven time and time again that they have no idea how things work. As the great Neil Tyson Degrassi recently stated- "What scares me the most? The level of profound science illiteracy in people who have control over laws and legislation of the land. Because that is a recipe for the unraveling of an informed democracy. If that permeates, it could dismantle civilization and I don't think I'm exaggerating. The methods and tools of science are the best way we've ever come up with as humans to establish what is objectively true and false. If people have different belief systems, that's fine in a country that protects that. But if you have a belief system that I don't have and you rise to power over laws and create a law based on that system, that's a recipe for ending the American system of governance." We need a return to progress, scientific advancement, and normalcy for the American people. The only place a Bible should precede the constitution is the alphabet. Stop project 25.
