The Save Our Bacon Act is a ridiculous attempt to usurp a state’s right to make laws to protect citizens from unsafe foods and protect animals from undue suffering. It’s been shoved into a Farm Bill in the Senate Agriculture committee and is due for a vote after July 4. Please vote NO on the Save Our Bacon Act and ensure that your SC constituents have a say in the safety of their food supply as well as the right to protect our farmed animals from undue suffering.
