Msg from NH Constituent - USPS Policy Changes - Pay CLOSE Attention

To: Rep. Pappas, Sen. Hassan, Sen. Shaheen

From: A verified voter in Manchester, NH

January 14

Recent changes to the USPS are very concerning - implied curfews, mandatory documents on personnel at all times, definition changes to “postmark date”, and a memo that directs all usps staff to reject “hand stamp” requests. Congress needs to review these changes and remediate these issues through LAW. Congress and our democracy depends on foundational assumptions and principles that the usps is for the people .. that is no longer the case. FIX IT before mail-in ballots require 2 hours with a lawyer and a paid private courier to assure their votes will count.
