Tell ice to remove their masks and provide ID.
To: Rep. McGuire
From: A constituent in Charlottesville, VA
June 25
I have heard you argue in congress that all immigrants must be deported because of the violent actions of a few (e.g., Laken Riley case).
I would like you to consider then, that all ICE agents must remove their masks and provide identification, to protect us all from the violent actions of impersonators.
You claim that they must mask their identities to prevent doxxing. Please know that in saying that, you are arguing that the safety of armed law enforcement officers is more important than the safety of all other citizens of this great country. We are all at risk of violence from the actions of impersonators.
Perhaps you are not worried about being nabbed and raped by masked law enforcement impersonators, but as a woman, I am. You have claimed in previous letters that protecting women is one of your priorities. Please, protect me! Tell ice to remove their masks and identify themselves to eliminate the possibility that impersonators use this opportunity to kidnap and abuse American citizens.
