There is extensive focus on the kitchen table economy heading into the midterm elections. Americans are struggling to pay everyday expenses.
However this distracts from what is the real economic problem we face. That is WHAT we spend our money on. We have money. We are a rich nation and we throw hundreds of millions at problems that don’t exist or not a priority while ignoring critical needs.
Critical needs are those services that represent an investment in our future growth and strength. Fixing the reflecting pond and gilded statues does nothing to serve the American people.
Investments in education, child care, healthcare, improving our food chain, clean water, clean air, infrastructure are all investments.
In short, you are not being good stewards of our tax dollars, investing in what Americans really want their money spent on.
This is the real fix needed to our economy. It’s not the interest rate, inflation rate or the cost of gas.
Stop wasting our money!
