I write in absolute opposition to The American AI Sovereign Wealth Fund Act put forward by Bernie Sanders.
I do not want any part of a public share in these companies. I want them regulated within an inch of their useless existence and punished for the crimes they have committed in the pursuit of constant exponential unsustainable financial growth. I want full and proper compensation for the artists they stole from and the communities that have been harmed by their environmental irresponsibility. I want them to pay for how they have already contributed to the decline of American intelligence and capability.
These companies are already starting to fail. They're starting to panic. They know they've spent more money than they can ever hope to make back. They know they do not have valid use cases for their spicy autocorrect generators. They know they have no real value, but they've poured an awful lot of capital into faking it. They are scared.
And they do not deserve a bailout. They are not critical to society. They are not even important. They are a societal ill, not a good. They are a net evil: machines which have stolen from creative and intellectual workers with the goal of atrophying the critical and intellectual skills of everyone who uses them.
I ask you not to support this bill or anything like it.
