I understand supporting the troops. But YOU have to understand that the President of the United States is supposed to support the Constitution. And Congress, our elected officials, are supposed to support the Constitution.
Trump's war with Iran is illegal. It is unjustified. It is unnecessary. It is not well thought out. There is no plan and there is no endgame.
Instead, it was a spur of the moment way for Trump to take pressure off of the Epstein files.
And in addition to being Putin's puppet, Trump is Netanyahua's puppet.
Because of this unnecessary war, 160 schoolgirls are dead. Members of our armed services are dead due to friendly fire. Half a million Americans are stranded in the Middle East and can't evacuate. And we are spending billions of dollars.
Congress declares war. You are allowing Trump to act without Congress, and this isn't the first time.
At this point you may as well shut Congress down and go home. Trump doesn't need you and you certainly aren't doing your jobs. Trump wants to be a dictator and you are allowing him to be one. So shut it all down and go home.
Americans are against the war with Iran but the Republicans don't care.
How do you feel about Senator Tim Sheehy breaking a veteran's arm because the veteran was protesting the war?
That's who you are, Senators. That's who you align yourselves with.
Just go home.
