I am writing to express my outrage and disgust about the comments made by Senator Lee in regard to the recent murders and shootings in Minnesota. Regardless of any political beliefs, I think we can all agree that murder is wrong and to joke about it is despicable. Two children now no longer have parents and another family is struggling through recovery. What kind of American or Christian would use this time to make jokes? Senator Lee you should be ashamed of yourself and do all within your power to right this wrong. Senator Curtis you should have the courage to speak out against such vile behavior wherever you see it. This is an embarrassment to our state, our country and our shared faith. Be better!
