I’m writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the continued, unquestioning support many Republican leaders — including yourself — are giving to Donald Trump and policies like his so-called “big beautiful bill.” It’s troubling to see our elected officials fall in line with everything he says and does, rather than thinking independently and representing the broader interests of all your constituents. The blind loyalty to one man, rather than to the Constitution, the country, or even the principles the Republican Party once stood for, is dangerous and undemocratic. We need leaders who are willing to show courage — to stand up for truth, integrity, and sound policy — not just those who parrot talking points to stay in Trump’s good graces. This isn’t about partisan politics — it’s about leadership. I urge you to step up, show independence, and prioritize what’s best for the people, not just what’s best for Donald Trump. Our country deserves better, and so does your office.
