I am deeply concerned about cuts to the National Park Service and to threats to environmental stewardship over the natural world, both nationally and here in VA. Virginia is home to national parks and forests that are not only a destination for tourists who boost our state economy, but home to wildlife and fragile ecosystems that we must protect. As stewards of our Virginia natural world, I’m writing to implore you to advocate for environmental protections over our waterways, state and national parks & forests so that they will be here for the next generation to enjoy.
