ICE isn't about immigration at all. It is about terrorizing everyone in our country. Mr. Budd and Mr. Tillis, neither of you had better be repeating Trump's and Noem's lies that the ICE agent shot an American citizen due to self defense. Millions of us have seen the videos, all from various angles, we have listened to witnesses, we have listened to the voices on the videos. The ICE agent murdered a woman in broad daylight for no reason other than he believed he could because he was given permission by the Trump administration. The woman posed no threat. She did not run over him. She was senselessly and needlessly murdered. And now her young son is an orphan. But let's just say the ICE agent was acting in self defense (and again, he wasn't). If so, why not shoot her car tires? Why aim for her face? Why choose to murder her? He murdered her and walked away. ICE is a terror organization. Americans are not safe. And Trump, Noem, and the Republicans are to blame. This woman's death is blood on your hands. Don't you dare repeat Trump's and Noem's lies. Don't you dare.
