I hope you will join Senator Sanders this week in voting to block more American dollars from going to Israel. It is insulting to the American people that our government can slash Medicaid, defund our national parks, cut support for pbs and npr, and dismantle the department of education all while funneling billions of our tax dollars to a foreign war most of us don’t support. Israel has already been widely and credibly accused of genocide against Palestine and their egregious violence in Iran and Lebanon is horrifying to witness. It is incredibly disturbing that the US is currently their strongest ally. Please be a part of ending that. Thank you for your time and attention. If you write back any version of “Israel has the right to defend itself” I swear I will do everything in my power to persuade people not to vote for you in your next primary. Take care!
