Rep. Castor, I ask you to please stand beside Rep. Sarah McBride. Rep. Mace’s bill is astoundingly transphobic, and not something I want any Congressional Representative to stand behind and certainly not any Democrats. Rep. Mace makes a mockery of transgender people who just want to exist under the odious guise of protecting women and girls. I find this repugnant and unacceptable. As a friend of many folks in the transgender community, many people are feeling less seen than ever. Lives are literally at stake. It would mean a lot if their Congressional Representatives take a strong stand like Rep. Ocasio-Cortez did last night, in forceful plain language, that makes it clear transphobia is unacceptable in the People’s House. Thank you for your time. I wish you luck in your next term. Please keep fighting for every Floridian in your district.
