I have just been made aware of the "arriving alien" loophole that ICE is using to arrest legal green card holders when they return from abroad. Cleusimar De Lima Coblentz is just one of many who have returned from visiting family out of the country only to find that past resolved mistakes are held against them and they are detained with no due process including contact with their lawyer. This is allowed to happen only when people like us know about it and say nothing. I urge you to take an active stance in fighting for the rights of the people of this country. Don't just wait for a bill to come before you. It may not without direct intervention. If legal residents can be treated in this way, any of us can.
