I urge you to reconsider the discriminatory reporting system proposed by the Department of Education. This platform seems ripe for abuse and could promote further discrimination against already marginalized groups. Rather than fostering an environment of fear and division, the focus should be on building an inclusive education system that celebrates diversity. Taxpayer funds would be better utilized funding programs that bring people together and combat systemic inequities. Pitting communities against each other solves nothing and erodes public trust in our institutions. I implore you to prioritize policies rooted in empathy, justice and unity for the well-being of all students.
