Please vote NO on the “Big Beautiful Bill”
To: Sen. Crapo, Sen. Risch
From: A constituent in Boise, ID
June 26
I am writing to urge you to vote NO on the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill.” While its name might sound promising, the content of this bill is anything but helpful to everyday Americans.
From proposals to cut Medicaid—a lifeline for millions of families, children, and seniors—to allowing the sale of public lands that belong to all of us, this bill is deeply out of step with the values and priorities of your constituents.
Selling off public lands is not only short-sighted, it’s dangerous. These lands are part of our shared heritage. They support local economies, protect ecosystems, and provide space for recreation, mental health, and community connection. Once they’re gone, they’re gone forever.
And cutting Medicaid? That’s a direct attack on the most vulnerable among us. Health care shouldn’t be a luxury or a political pawn—it’s a basic human right.
This bill does not put Americans first. It puts profits, privatization, and political games ahead of people, land, and long-term wellbeing.
Please stand with your constituents—not corporate interests. Vote NO on the “Big Beautiful Bill.”
