Please do not vote to cut funding for public broadcasting. Especially in a rural state like Montana, abandoning public media would mean abandoning options for many of our residents. Montana PBS helps fund many programs that expand our understanding of our state. One notable recent example was the documentary on the great Montana author Ivan Doig. Rather than saving money, cutting funding would make us culturally poorer.
