Allow the NC Attorney General to hold executive power accountable

To: Rep. Logan, Sen. Mohammed

From: A verified voter in Charlotte, NC

February 27, 2025

Tonight I'm writing to ask you to vote NO on Senate Bill 58, AG/Restrict Challenge to Presidential EOs. This bill would limit our state Attorney General's ability to take independent legal action. By requiring General Assembly approval before the AG can challenge executive orders, this bill alters the balance of power between the branches of government. Vote no on Senate Bill 58. I don't want the NCGA to limit the NC Attorney General’s ability to protect our rights. I do not consent to shifting power away from the people.
