Protect Hemp Access In FDA Spending Bill

To: Rep. Olszewski, Sen. Van Hollen, Sen. Alsobrooks

From: A verified voter in Owings Mills, MD

November 11

I am writing to ask you to strip out the harmful hemp language from the agricultural FDA spending bill. It’s unrelated to the bill and would devastate farmers, small businesses, and over 40 million Americans who rely on access to CBD products. Millions of Americans rely on these safe products both in states where cannabis remains illegal and in states where it is legalized but where quality CBD products are lacking. It is unacceptable for congress to make illegal a nonintoxicating plant medicine that provides safe relief from a wide spectrum of ailments to millions of people. Strip the language and protect full spectrum hemp products.
