I am writing to demand immediate action on the Epstein Files Transparency Act and accountability for those obstructing justice in this case. Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna have filed a discharge petition to force a vote on H.R. 4405, which would mandate the release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein's federal child sex trafficking case. I urge you to support this discharge petition and vote yes on H.R. 4405.
Jeffrey Epstein was convicted on federal child sex trafficking charges in 2019 and died in his jail cell while awaiting sentencing. The American people deserve full transparency about everyone involved in these crimes. During his 2024 campaign, Donald Trump promised to release the Epstein client list, yet his Department of Justice has declined to release this evidence. This broken promise and active obstruction of transparency demands consequences.
I am calling on you to demand that the DOJ release all documents legally mandated by the Epstein Files Transparency Act immediately. The public has a right to know the full scope of these crimes and who participated in or enabled them.
Additionally, I urge you to call for public hearings and investigations into the alleged abuses revealed by these documents. Survivors and the American people deserve answers, and Congress has the constitutional authority to conduct these investigations.
I am also requesting that you call for the resignations of Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Deputy Todd Blanche for their roles in blocking the release of this critical evidence. Their obstruction undermines public trust in our justice system.
Finally, I ask that you support articles of impeachment and move to convict Donald Trump for breaking his promise to the American people and actively obstructing transparency in a case involving the sexual exploitation of children.
This is about accountability, justice for survivors, and restoring faith in our institutions. I expect you to take a clear stand on this issue.
