I am writing to express my deep concern over the administration's continued defiance of the court order to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia and their insistence that there's nothing that can be done about it. If this is not a constitutional crisis then what is? The American public needs answers. Is he even alive? Is the admin basically trying to cover it's ass? Who signed a contract with El Salvador without provisions for returns? Is this a test to see how far they can go and if they get away with this who or what is next? We say we are a country built on the rule of law, but this admin has clearly decided the rule of law does not apply here at all. If President Trump is allowed to get away with this without any accountability, we know he will see this as authority to continue to push the boundaries. Heck, he's already said he wants to send American citizens who are in prison to El Salvador. After that, who's next? The best time to stop someone with authoritatian tendencies is now, when you can.
