Thank you for your words condemning the pardons of violent criminals. These pardons were a travesty, undermining the rule of law and our justice system. The family of Brian Sicknick deserves better. The officers who were involved in hand to hand combat, beaten with bats and flag poles and sticks. Michael Fanone had a heart attack from the tasering as he lay on the ground beaten and begging for his life; at least two officers took their lives in the days after the attack. You were there. You know the brutality. History cannot be rewritten when we know exactly what happened. I urge you to continue speaking out against this horrific decision. Please have the courage to speak with moral clarity through these next years.
