Dear Representative, I am writing as one of your constituents to express my alarm over recent statements by the president that I believe amount to threats of genocide and place both our country and the world in danger. I urge you to publicly support the use of the Twenty-Fifth Amendment if warranted, to demand an immediate review of the president’s conduct and fitness for office, and to speak clearly and forcefully about the danger of remaining silent. This is not about party. It is about preventing further harm, protecting democratic institutions, and ensuring that no president is above accountability when the stakes are this high.
