Reject the "Big, Beautiful Bill" - billionaires have enough already!

I am writing to vehemently oppose the “Big, Beautiful Bill” recently passed by the House Budget Committee. This bill is a blatant attack on the well-being of millions of Americans and threatens the economic stability of our nation. • The outrageous cuts to Medicaid - which are being pushed through under the deceitful guise of reducing “waste, fraud, and abuse” - will strip away vital healthcare from those who need it most. • The extension of 2017 tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations represents a massive transfer of wealth from ordinary Americans to the top echelons of society, and it will blow the budget deficit wide open with an estimated cost of at least $4.6 trillion over the next ten years. • The prohibition on state laws to regulate artificial intelligence for the next ten years is absolutely terrifying, at a time when the country’s leading AI entrepreneurs are traveling with Trump to Saudi Arabia to discuss investment in AI. The rushed manner in which this bill is being pushed forward, without adequate public debate or detailed analysis from the Congressional Budget Office, makes it clear that Republicans know what they are doing – and they want it done before the American people can understand the extent it will harm them. I urge you to reject this bill and prioritize the needs of all Americans, not just the wealthy few.
