Federal Democrat senators have again proven they are spineless. 2 weeks more of DHS funding????? No. Absolutely not. No funding for murderers. Those 2 weeks are not required at all to reform DHS. Democrat senators just continue to "reach across the isle" and bring us further and further right wing as the other side never does the same. Congress's lack of action and continued capitulation to a fascist administration is terrifying. PLEASE PROTECT US. ***This state needs to immediately rework our taxes. Rewrite the laws so corporations within Washington State are required to send their employees taxes to a state fund rather than the feds.*** Regardless of what the future holds, the federal government has shown they are not trustworthy enough to receive our state's taxes without oversight. The checks and balances of our federal government have FAILED and states need to step up to become the new accountability for this rogue establishment. A new administration in a few years will not fix what has been proven to be fundamentally broken. A new admin will not be able to repair the damage done to our democracy. I deeply despise that we have no choice but to fund our own occupation. Please fix this. I do not want my taxes going towards a government that has child rapists in charge. I do not want my taxes going towards a government that murders it's own citizens with unidentified secret police. I do not want my taxes going towards a government that sees no value in global stability and, worse yet, actively works to destabilize it. Enact changes to our state legislation that allows us to withhold taxes from the feds when they break national and international laws. Thank you for your time and public service to this state.
