Millions of dollars’ worth of birth control pills and other contraceptives destined for people in low-income countries have been destroyed at the direction of the Trump administration, the United States Agency for International Development said on Thursday. Despite multiple charities - including the Gates Foundation and the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation - having offered to buy or accept a donation of the contraceptives at no cost to the government, the Trump administration instead chose to purposefully throw away U.S. taxpayer dollars instead. The deliberate destruction of nearly $10 million worth of contraceptives, under the blatantly false pretense that they are used for abortion, is an outrageous act of cruelty and is just one example of the extreme wastefulness of taxpayer money happening under Trump. This blatant waste of taxpayer funds is just one example of the countless mismanagements of the Trump administration. Please, do everything you can to oppose this MAGA agenda.
