Enshrine the right to save seeds & grow our own food into state Constitution!

To: Sen. Rosen, Rep. Lee, Sen. Cortez Masto

From: A verified voter in Las Vegas, NV

August 27

Introduce, cosponsor, and publicly support legislation that enshrines our right to save seeds and grow our own food into our state Constitution. In the state of Maine, voters put the right to save seeds and grow their own food into their state Constitution. The text in their law names a right to save seeds and to grow, harvest, and eat food of their own choosing. For reference, it was H.P. 61 House of Representatives, January 13, 2021 RESOLUTION, Proposing an Amendment to the Constitution of Maine To Establish a Right to Food. With the unstable and questionable conditions of our food chain supply, we, the people, need to secure our right to food now! Introduce, cosponsor, and publicly support a bill that enshrines our right to save seeds and grow our own food into our state Constitution.
