I am writing today to urge the conservative “justices” to find some humanity. Absolutely disgusting and vile listening to you question during the EMTALA hearing. I struggle with the words to address how absolutely awful you all are and how much death you are already responsible for and for which you will be responsible for. You are not doctors. You are not scientists. You aren’t even interested in the well being of anyone else. No doctor should be allowed to turn someone away because of your ignorance and lack of empathy. Do not take further actions to cause death to pregnant people in this country. Do not rule that people can be turned away. Pretend for a moment that you care, that one of those people turned away was a loved one, pretend that you have decency. Rule that doctors have to treat people. Simple.
