I’m sickened that another person has been shot by ICE (https://substack.com/redirect/a02bdb78-7ce1-4f1c-aee3-8f03fc970364?j=eyJ1IjoiNm1seXYifQ.otOmJiKbuVjJchpYlNRHfEdUeScpGrrwie9zwfsSQuI). This madness must stop. This agency is completely out of control. The man they shot, Wilber Garces Perez, was a DoorDash driver. He was trying to make a delivery when ICE agents rammed his car with theirs and shot him. It’s insane! We need a full, independent investigation, immediate release of the body camera footage, and accountability for any ICE officer who broke the law. Also, we need an immediate end to traffic stops. ICE has shown themselves unable to conduct them without violence. Stop them now! Actually, just dismantle the organization. It is broken beyond repair.
