Block the Palantir Power Grab — Stop the Quiet Coup I’m writing to urgently demand Congressional oversight and legal intervention in the dangerous and accelerating takeover of our government by private tech elites and far-right ideologues. On April 16, 2025, President Trump signed an Executive Order mandating that agencies replace government-built systems with “commercial solutions.” While it sounds like a budget fix, it’s actually a handout to Palantir Technologies — Peter Thiel’s surveillance company, now embedded in nearly every major federal system. Palantir is being used by DOGE, a shadowy agency run by Musk and Thiel loyalists, to centralize and analyze data from the IRS, DOD, Treasury, and more. Meanwhile, Trump’s people — including inexperienced tech allies from xAI, Neuralink, and Palantir — have taken over the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), which controls federal hiring and vetting. One was barely out of high school. All of this is being orchestrated by Russ Vought, the architect of Project 2025, who wants to: • Fire tens of thousands of civil servants • Replace them with loyalists • Dismantle agencies that protect civil rights, health, and the environment • Inject religious ideology into federal policy This is a coordinated assault on democratic governance. I urge Congress to: • Investigate all Palantir-related federal contracts under this EO • Subpoena Russ Vought and DOGE leadership for oversight hearings • Block funding for any initiative using private surveillance firms for core government functions • Protect the independence of OPM and the integrity of civil service hiring This is not about efficiency — it’s about control. We are watching the Constitution be hollowed out by billionaires, algorithms, and authoritarian playbooks. Please act before it’s too late.
