Stop allowing Trump to use the presidency for personal power. Trump wants nothing more than to concentrate resources and power for his personal gain. He has no interest in governing. He has no interest in doing what is best for our country, nor does he care about helping Americans and keeping us safe. Trump is lining his pockets and the pockets of his family members and billionaire cronies while Americans are struggling to pay bills and afford food and gas and housing. Trump is trying to assert control over elections, wars, tariffs, immigration, and the DOJ to go after his perceived "enemies". He is using the presidency as his stay out of jail card. Congress is supposed to provide checks and balances on the executive branch but the Republicans in Congress refuse to do so. You are allowing Trump's corruption. You are allowing Trump's loyalists to call all the shots, putting Americans in danger and without the guardrails needed to keep us safe and able to live a decent life. Senators, what is wrong with you? How can you sit there and allow Trump's corruption? How can you allow him to take your power away? Congress declares war, not the president. Congress sets tariffs, not the president. You all took an oath to work FOR us, to do what is best for all of us, and to keep us safe. You didn't take an oath to the president. Trump is mentally unwell and unfit to do his job properly. He has no interest in doing his job properly. It is quite literally your job to stop him. Why won't you stop Trump? How will living under authoritarian rule help us? Do your jobs.
