Oppose section 224 of the NDAA! Your loyalty is owed to the US, not Israel!

I am writing to urge you to strictly oppose any legislative provisions—including data fusion, deep network integration, or structural blending—that look to merge or functionally intertwine the United States military with the armed forces of Israel or any other foreign nation.
Merging or deeply integrating our military apparatus with a foreign power fundamentally violates the structural framework of the U.S. Constitution in several critical ways-
1. The Commander-in-Chief Clause (Article II, Section 2)-
The Constitution vests exclusive command of the Armed Forces of the United States in the President of the United States to ensure clear, uncompromised lines of national authority.
Integrating foreign command structures, data sharing, or operational decision-making dilutes this singular authority and compromises the independent military judgment required to protect American interests first.
2. The War Powers and Declare War Clause (Article I, Section 8)-
The Framers deliberately gave Congress the sole power to declare war and appropriate military funds.
Fusing our defense infrastructure, technology, and intelligence with a foreign nation risks dragging the United States into external conflicts automatically, effectively bypassing Congress’s constitutional duty to debate and authorize the use of American military force.
3. National Sovereignty and Independent Governance-
The constitutional design demands that American defense policy remain entirely accountable to the American public and its elected representatives.
Deep structural or algorithmic integration strips away vital democratic oversight, moving accountability away from Congress and into opaque, bilateral defense-industrial mechanisms.
Our military must remain a completely independent force, tethered strictly to the U.S. Constitution and accountable solely to the citizens of the United States. I urge you to investigate and strip any provisions from the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) or other defense bills that promote the systemic integration of our military with foreign forces.
It is the job of Congress to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. I see no way you can move forward with such a proposal and complete your duty to OUR country at the same time.
