Are you tired? I know that I am certainly tired; the firehose-level speed at which the President seems to be undermining the country is exhausting & there seems to be no end. Right now Trump’s tariffs & what they will do to the spending ability of the everyday American (and the economy on the whole) is horrifying. Things are already expensive thanks to post-pandemic corporate greed, now add on the poor planning of an aspiring dictator & the future looks bleak. To watch Congress sit on their hands - or even worse - praise these devastating machinations is gruesome. Canada is our ally, why is no one in Congress saying that to the president? Why is no one taking him to task for any of the things he is doing/saying to our allies? Why are you not horrified at his cozying up to the dictators in what a former GOP president termed “the axis of evil”? But I digress, this is about the tariff specter staring us “commoners” in the face as we struggle with day to day operations. This is already hurting & it looks as if it will get worse. Please step up and do something. This is your chance to prove to the country, to your constituents, to your community that you care about them and America. Thank you
