I am a 73 year old lifetime moderate Democrat. I’ve supported, donated, volunteered and advocated for party candidates, including both of your Senate runs. Your shameful vote yesterday made me feel as though it was all a waste. You turned your back on your colleagues, on the constituents who sent you to the Senate, on your state and worst of all, on your country. Assuming Musk and his sidekick Trump don’t kill me, don’t kill us all, and cancel elections (abetted by your vote) I promise to never vote for you again. A lifetime Democrat will now register as an Independent and the purse is closed to all except individual candidates worthy of supporting. (Assuming the dogebags don’t take your vote as a green light to steal our Social Security) You can explain that to the DNC. On a side note, I see your staff recently created a BlueSky account. Looks like nearly 450 followers already, but not one single post from you. I probably wouldn’t show my face there now either. The blowback will be ferocious.
