You know, more than most, the importance of the federal government response in Hurricane relief. In the aftermath of Helene and the coming catastrophic impact of Milton, I URGE you to convince your peers to return and convene the House. Pass emergency funding bill(s) to support these devastated and soon to be crushed communities. As a hurricane survivor, I beg of you to lead your colleagues. ALSO - PLEASE do your part to diffuse the mass disinformation that trump is igniting and spreading about storm relief and federal responses. THIS IS NOT what those in devastating circumstances need. They need to hear the positive overwhelming resources being deployed to them. They need to feel love and support. They do NOT need to be further torn down. Fix it.
