I am writing first to thank Senator Tillis for standing up regarding threats to the independence of the Federal Reserve, and blocking DHS nominees until the DHS Secretary testifies as requested. I urge the Senator to also hold ICE accountable for the murder of Renee Nicole Good. I also thank him for upholding our NATO alliance and I hope that he votes to reclaim Congressional authority when the War Powers Act comes to a full vote in the Senate. Finally, I am aware that the House has passed a bill restoring ACA subsidies. I urge the Senator to vote for those subsidies when that bill comes to the Senate, ensuring that millions of Americans don’t lose access to healthcare.
