Data centers have no place in PG County. They are already poising Black communities in the south, quite literally. Air that you cannot breathe in, polluted water, and of course high energy bills. This is no way to live life especially for a service that we do not need. AI did not exist 5 years ago and we do not need it now. You want to kill my family in the name of ChatGPT? If these data centers do come, and raise our energy bills how will go to the Tropical Smoothie, Quickway, Chipotle combo that pops up on every other street or pay for the $600,000 townhomes? But I promise you, if they do come, we will have just enough energy to vote you out.
