You’re Funded by AIPAC While Kids Starve to Death
To: Rep. Foushee
From: A verified voter in Durham, NC
July 26
I’m writing to you not as some detached voter or distant observer, but as someone watching children in Gaza waste away, literally starve to death, while you say nothing and keep taking money from AIPAC.
You saw the NYT report. Or maybe you ignored it like everything else uncomfortable about this war. Children are dying in hospitals because they have nothing. No milk. No food. No water. Nothing. Doctors are begging for flour. Parents are boiling lentils over firewood. Charity kitchens are overwhelmed. Infants born healthy are now dying because they’re literally starving in front of their mothers.
Meanwhile, you're still cashing checks from an organization that lobbies against any effort to hold Israel accountable, even when they’re blocking aid and enforcing a siege so brutal, UN agencies are calling it a famine.
You can’t stay silent and still claim to care about human rights. You can’t tweet about “peace” while funding a military campaign that has deliberately created conditions where starvation is a weapon.
So I want to know: where do you stand? And don’t give me the PR-approved, AIPAC-filtered talking points. I want a straight answer: how many more dead kids does it take before you speak up?
Because right now, it looks like you care more about keeping your seat than you do about keeping children alive.
Do better.
