Vote NO on the Protect College Sports Act

To: Sen. Van Hollen, Sen. Alsobrooks

From: A verified voter in Bethesda, MD

Please vote No on the Protect College Sports Act. Although many can agree that the current state of college athletics has become chaotic, the solution is not to impose these limits on compensation and more restrictions on student athletes. This bill would continue the long tradition of universities and broadcasters exploiting college athletes for huge profits. College athletes should be allowed to form and join unions, and continue their fight for fair compensation. Any bill written to tackle this complicated issue should involve input from the student athletes and their representatives, instead of just those making money off of them.
